About the Role:

George Forbes House is located in the city of Queanbeyan, boasting sweeping views of the surrounding countryside and is nearby to Canberra. Featuring peaceful, spacious grounds, quaint courtyards and an aviary and fishpond adds to the tranquil atmosphere.

As an Admin Officer/Coordinator, you’ll be part of a team, empowering and supporting one another to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions for aged care services.

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $26.51 - $34.41/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

Duties may include:

  • Client Administration
  • Hosting tours of the facility
  • Sales aspects for the facility
  • General administrative duties as requested

About You:

  • A team player attitude and enjoy interacting with elderly people
  • Proven experience in office administration/clerical position and outstanding organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Great customer service with ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
