About the Role
As a Therapy & Leisure Partner, you’ll help residents live with meaning, dignity and joy by delivering personalised leisure, lifestyle and therapeutic activities. Working under the Lifestyle Coordinator and alongside our Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and wider care team, you’ll support residents to stay active, connected and confident through programs tailored to their abilities and interests.
This is a permanent part-time role based at Gracewood, Salter Point, with a fortnightly rotating roster:
Week 1

Monday – 9:00am to 4:30pm

Tuesday – 9:00am to 4:30pm

Friday – 9:00am to 4:00pm

Saturday – 9:00am to 4:00pm
Week 2

Monday – 9:00am to 4:30pm

Tuesday – 9:00am to 4:30pm

Thursday – 9:30am to 4:30pm
You’ll create opportunities for residents to enjoy meaningful engagement — from everyday activities to therapist‑guided programs that support functional ability and emotional wellbeing.

About You
You’re compassionate, creative and confident engaging with older people, including those living with dementia. You bring warmth, patience and a genuine desire to make each day meaningful.
To be successful, you will have:

Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent/progressing toward)

Experience supporting people living with dementia
-
Current First Aid Certificate
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Working knowledge of WHS practices
-
Strong communication skills and a person‑centred approach
