About the Role 

We are seeking a proactive, experienced Claims & Collections Manager to unite our newly merged function and lead a small, geographically dispersed team. Your leadership will be crucial in driving process excellence and supporting our mission to deliver outstanding care to our communities. 

This position is a permanent full time role and can be based at any of our state offices.  

As Claims & Collections Manager, you will: 

  • Take charge of the claims and collections strategy at a critical time for our organisation 

  • Bring together and inspire a newly merged team, spread across multiple locations 

  • Drive improvements in process efficiency, customer experience, and debt management 

  • Drive standardisation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across customer collections and claiming 

  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to deliver sustainable improvements in customer debt and subsidy management 

  • Oversee billing, receivables, and compliance with funding contracts and regulatory requirements 

  • Model BaptistCare’s values in every interaction, fostering a culture of integrity, stewardship, and accountability

You’re an experienced leader (8+ years) in senior collections & claims roles within aged care, disability, or community health ,ready to step in and make an immediate impact.   You thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate with confidence, and are passionate about continuous improvement and team empowerment. You bring strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. You’re committed to upholding BaptistCare’s values and empowering your team to deliver outstanding service.
