About the Role

As a Carer, you’ll enable residents to live well by showing loving care in all that you do. You will:

• Build genuine connections with residents, understanding their needs and preferences

• Assist with personal and daily care, including showering, grooming, meals, and mobility

• Support residents in activities that bring joy and meaning to their day

• Encourage choice and independence, always respecting dignity

• Provide feedback to supervisors to ensure care plans reflect changing needs

This role is about more than tasks—it’s about making a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Although this is a casual role, we are seeking candidates who can commit to at least three shifts per week across various AM, PM, and night shifts. This consistency helps us build genuine connections with our residents and ensures they receive the care and familiarity they value most.

About You

You’re the kind of person who:

• Holds (or is commencing) a Certificate III in Aged Care or is undertaking Undergraduate Registered Nurse training

• Is physically able to carry out duties safely and efficiently

• Has basic computer skills and is open to ongoing learning

• Communicates clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and team members

• Understands and appreciates BaptistCare’s Christian identity and values
