About the Role

 

As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design future-state solutions that align with strategic objectives.

You will play a critical role in translating business needs into practical, scalable solutions while ensuring user experience and process effectiveness remain at the centre of solution design.

 

About the Role

 

As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand current and future business needs.
  • Conduct As-Is and To-Be process mapping, identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and service improvement.
  • Lead business process redesign initiatives across complex business environments.
  • Translate business requirements into clear solution designs and functional requirements.
  • Communicate and validate proposed solutions with stakeholders at all levels, from Executive leaders to frontline users.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and project teams to identify dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Apply Human-Centred Design (HCD), usability, and user experience principles to solution design.
  • Support change and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation of new processes and systems.

 

About You

 

You are a collaborative and inquisitive Business Analyst who enjoys partnering with stakeholders to solve complex business challenges. You have strong facilitation and communication skills and can confidently engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) functions and processes, including:
    • Core HR
    • Payroll
    • Learning & Development
    • Performance Management
    • Work Health & Safety (WHS)
    • Workforce Planning
    • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
    • Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, ERP, HRIS, workforce management, or enterprise technology projects.
  • Exposure to Human-Centred Design (HCD), UX design principles, and change management methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working within digital transformation, ERP, HRIS, Finance, Workforce Management, or Technology projects.
  • Experience applying Human-Centred Design (HCD) and User Experience (UX) principles.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
  • Business Analysis certification or related qualifications.
  • Experience within healthcare, aged care, community services, or other highly regulated industries.
