We are now seeking an Applications Analyst to join our Business Technology Solutions team and play a key role in delivering and supporting technology solutions that enable high quality care and services across our organisation.
This is a full time maximum term position for 2 years based at our Norwest office.
About the role
As an Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery, enhancement and support of off the shelf business‑critical applications, especially Risk & Compliance software. You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technology teams to ensure systems are reliable, secure and aligned to organisational needs, helping BaptistCare deliver on its mission every day.
This role blends technical expertise, stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving and making a real difference through technology.
- Support and enhance assigned business applications, understanding current and future capabilities (e.g., RSA Archer, CAMMS, RiskMan or similar).
- Contribute to product roadmaps, upgrades and system improvements.
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and solutions.
- Support agile delivery through backlog management, sprint planning and continuous improvement.
- Deliver configuration, data migration, reporting, automation and system integrations.
- Provide Level 3 application support in line with SLAs and change processes.
- Ensure systems are secure, compliant and supported by clear documentation.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
- Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and process improvement.

About You:
You will bring a balance of technical capability, communication skills and values‑driven professionalism, along with:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
- Experience working in a similar Applications Analyst or corporate IT role.
- Strong understanding of cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
- Exposure to data analysis, T-SQL, data migration or integration technologies.
- The ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in risk, healthcare or aged care systems, technical or agile certifications will be highly regarded.
