About the role:

This position is based at our 98-bed facility in Rockingham. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders, you will provide person-centred care to residents within the Aged Care Facility. Your role is to promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents by supporting them to participate in meaningful activities of daily life.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting), mobility, meals, household tasks, and leisure activities, while promoting independence and coordinating closely with nursing staff and other team members regarding residents’ specific health needs.

About you:

• Passionate about delivering person-centred care and engaging meaningfully with residents to support their individual needs.
• Thrives in a team environment and contributes positively to a collaborative workplace culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to build respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Holds or is commencing a Certificate III in Aged Care Work, or is undertaking undergraduate Registered Nurse training.
