As the Finance Lead in our Transformation Management Office (TMO), you’ll be at the heart of one of Australia’s most significant sector mergers. You’ll drive financial excellence, transparency, and innovation as we unite three leading organisations into one powerful force for good.
What You’ll Do
• Lead financial modelling, tracking, and management of major integration projects.
• Oversee all financial expenditure related to the merger, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with our strategic vision.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting, cost forecasting, and track the realisation of merger synergies.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop business cases and support program delivery.
• Be the go-to expert for financial queries, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Champion continuous improvement in financial management, reporting, and cost control.
• Uphold BaptistCare’s values, fostering a culture of inclusion, safety, and spiritual maturity.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar) preferred.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in project accounting, financial management, or business case development.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale integration projects is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in financial software (ERP, Excel, project management tools).
• Genuine commitment to upholding our mission and values.
• Commitment to travel (as needed).
