About the Role:

 Are you a hands-on, proactive individual with a passion for maintenance and helping others? We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Officer to join our team at BaptistCare William Carey Court in Busselton. In this full-time permanent role, you will ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for our residents and staff. Your work will make a real difference in creating a comfortable and supportive environment for everyone. 

Your duties will include 

• Perform general reactive and preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing light globes, fixing railings, minor repairs, regular painting touch ups) 
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Liaise with contractors and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records using our maintenance management system

About You:

 To be successful in this role you should be reliable, proactive individual with a commitment to providing high-quality maintenance services. Your empathy, flexibility, and patience will help you connect with our residents and meet their needs. To be considered you will need;

  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role 
  • Ability to communicate well and respectfully with people from all walks of life
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft and online ticketing systems.
  • A valid driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia
