We’re seeking an experienced Security & Infrastructure Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping secure, resilient, and scalable technology across a newly unified, national organisation. This is a rare opportunity to influence architecture at enterprise scale while contributing to meaningful work that genuinely impacts lives.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the GM IT Strategy & Architecture, you’ll be a key member of the Architecture function, responsible for defining and guiding security and infrastructure architecture across on premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.
This is a hands-on strategic role where you will:
• Set enterprise-wide security architecture direction
• Lead infrastructure modernisation and cloud strategy
• Influence technology decisions at the highest levels
• Support mergers and acquisitions through secure integration and due diligence
• Balance strong governance with pragmatic, business enabling solutions

About You
You’re a senior architect who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing outcomes — someone who can move comfortably between strategy and detail.
You’ll bring:
• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or similar
10+ years’ experience across infrastructure, networking, and security
• Proven experience designing secure architectures across on prem and cloud
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Experience shaping architectural strategy, roadmaps, and governance
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or major transitions
• Commitment to travel, including inter-state
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or cybersecurity credentials
• Strong knowledge of identity, data security, and cloud security patterns
• Experience in healthcare, aged care, or community services highly regarded
