Option 1: 37.5 hours fortnightly:

Week 1 - Monday and Wednesday 7am -1500

 Week 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7am – 1500

Option 2: 52.5 hours fortnightly:

Week 1 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7am – 1500,

week 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7am - 1500

About the Role

Baptistcare Orana Centre is looking  for a Permanent part-time Registered Nurse to deliver high quality, responsive and individualised care. In this role, you’ll plan, organise and implement care in accordance with individual Resident Care Plans and deliver and promote high standards of professional care. An experienced leader, you will provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to our Care Staff. Working within our Residential Aged Care team, you'll provide high-quality clinical care while leading and supporting a multidisciplinary care team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating resident care
• Delivering evidence-based nursing care aligned with best practice standards
• Building trusted relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals
• Supporting residents' physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing
• Leading, mentoring and supporting care staff to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audits and accreditation activities
• Responding proactively to changes in resident health and wellbeing needs

About You

You are a compassionate and confident Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding aged care.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in aged care and/or clinical leadership
• Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to lead, coach and inspire others
• A genuine commitment to delivering person-centred care

Located in the beautiful Central Coast suburb of Point Clare, Orana Centre has comfortable living at its heart. It’s dotted with private sitting rooms, barbeque areas, landscaped gardens and numerous courtyards for residents and their families and friends to enjoy. Point Clare’s amenities are always close at hand to residents, who come to us for a range of care services including dementia care and respite care services.
