About the role:

We are seeking a committed Registered Nurse to join our dedicated residential team at our 87-bed facility in Busselton. In this role, you will play a key part in helping residents pursue their unique personal goals and passions, ensuring they lead full and meaningful lives. You’ll have the opportunity to understand what matters most to each resident and collaborate with families, the multidisciplinary team, and allied health professionals to ensure their needs are met.

Your duties will include providing leadership and directly supervising Enrolled Nurses and Care Partners. You’ll ensure that care is delivered in line with the residents' clinical needs and their care plans, promoting consistency in care by delegating tasks and offering guidance. You will empower your team by ensuring they work within their scope and provide care to the highest standards. As a leader, you will set an example by implementing evidence-based clinical practices according to Baptistcare policies and AHPRA standards.

Additionally, you will develop and monitor care plans for each resident, utilising information gathered from assessments and regular communication with residents, their families, GPs, and allied health professionals. Your role will also include ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical and allied health services, helping residents live their best lives while working as part of a collaborative and compassionate team.

About you:

You are a qualified Registered Nurse with tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA. Experience in aged care or community services is highly regarded, along with a solid background in dementia support. You have a strong understanding of care assessment and provision within the aged and health care sectors, ensuring that you provide the highest standard of care to those you serve. Your ability to connect with the aged care population is evident in your empathy, understanding, and respect for their needs. Additionally, you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to work effectively with residents, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
