Permanent Part-Time Opportunity based in Alstonville.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Service Employees to join our team at BaptistCare. In this role, you will enable individuals to live well by showing loving care in all that you do. Understanding the needs and preferences of your residents, you will develop genuine connections and make a meaningful difference that supports the well-being of each resident. You will maintain their dignity as you assist and provide choice with personal and daily care, and activities that are of interest to the individual.

This role is offering 60 hours per fortnight with a combination of AM, PM and Night shifts.

About You 

To be considered, you will:

  • Hold or be commencing a Certificate III in Aged Care Work or undertaking Undergraduate Registered Nurse training 
  • Be physically able to carry out required duties in a safe and efficient manner 
  • Have basic technology/computer skills and willingness to take part in ongoing education 
  • Be able to understand verbal and written communication in English 
  • Have the ability to communicate with residents, families, and team members 
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
