About the opportunity:

We’re actively seeking an experienced Property Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our dynamic Property team on a permanent full-time basis.

Working closely with the General Manager Property, you will utilise your expertise to advance BaptistCare’s property investment strategy by securing & initiating new or renewal projects into our rapidly growing development pipeline.

This unique opportunity will see you collaborate with our Strategy and Developments teams, manage property transactions including identification, negotiation, and contracts. You will also manage project feasibility/business case proposals for new property development initiatives including market and product analysis, financial modelling and viability assessment and communication and engagement with stakeholders.

About you:

To be considered, you will have:
• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in front end planning and financial appraisal in the property development context.
• Experience in development site acquisition, renewal of existing sites, project initiation and the full lifecycle of property development.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to think innovatively to achieve project outcomes.
• Demonstrated understanding of project financing including debt and partnership structuring models.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with a genuine approach to internal and external stakeholder management.
• A strategic mindset with a commercial and entrepreneurial acumen.
• A natural flair and aptitude for identifying and managing risk.
• Well-developed relationships and reputation with key participants in the property sector would be advantageous
• A valid driver’s license and commitment to travel as required including inter-state
