About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, management and delivery of technology and system-related projects across BaptistCare. This role sits within our Information and Digital Team and plays a key role in consolidating systems, strengthening project controls and improving the reliability, consistency and sustainability of service delivery platforms.
You will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of system selection and consolidation projects, including requirements gathering for housing systems and community services client management systems. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will apply PMBOK-aligned disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, with clear governance, risks, dependencies and benefits understood and actively managed.
This role requires a strong ability to engage, influence and guide stakeholders through structured project delivery and controlled change, ensuring successful adoption of consolidated systems and processes while adhering to enterprise governance frameworks.
About you:
- Relevant qualifications in IT, Project Management or a related discipline, ideally with PMI certification and strong practical knowledge of PMBOK principles, processes and project management knowledge areas
- Extensive experience delivering technology projects from initiation through to closure, with disciplined management of scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, issues and benefits
- Proven experience leading system selection and implementation projects, including requirements gathering, options analysis and transition planning
- Demonstrated experience working within enterprise PMO environments, adhering to governance frameworks, stage gates, reporting standards and project assurance practices
- Strong experience managing controlled change within project delivery environments, including stakeholder readiness, adoption planning and transition to business-as-usual
- Experience managing vendors and external partners to deliver project outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Sound understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, dependency management and resource optimisation
Desirable:
- Experience within the Not-for-Profit (NFP), housing or community services sectors
- Familiarity with project tools such as Smartsheet
- Experience delivering projects within aged care or community services environments
