About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering technology projects across BaptistCare’s diverse services. You’ll engage closely with stakeholders, manage project scope and risk, ensure readiness for change, and oversee smooth transition of projects into operational support.
In this role, you’ll use your strong communication, leadership and influencing skills to guide stakeholders through change while ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
About the Team:
The Information & Digital team empowers BaptistCare by delivering innovation, transformational projects, advanced analytics, seamless technology operations, and risk management. You’ll join a collaborative team that values creativity, flexibility, and a solutions-focused approach.
About You:
- Qualifications in IT and/or Project Management related disciplines
- 10+ years Corporate IT experience
- Experience in use of project management methodologies such as PMP / Prince 2
- Experience in planning and delivering projects from concept to closure
- Experience in managing technology projects in areas including business systems & infrastructure
- Experience with managing Vendors to fulfil project requirements
- Sound knowledge around resource planning, scheduling and optimisation
- Hands-on experience with human resources information systems (HRIS) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions
- Experience working on projects across Finance, HR processes, Recruitment, Learning and Development, WHS, compliance, and similar business functions
- Familiarity with systems such as Technology One, SAP, Workday, or comparable platforms
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with stakeholders at all business levels
- Ability to develop relationships within a team, across related teams and with business stakeholders
- Experience negotiating and planning technical resources to fulfil project requirements
- Proven high level leadership and change management skills with the ability to manage through influence
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving agile environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies for delivering solutions
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
Desirable experience includes:
- Experience with Healthcare, Aged Care, Community Services and/or NFP systems and technology
- Experience with Project Management
