As a Maintenance Officer at BaptistCare, you will be the go-to person for all things maintenance, ensuring our facilities are top-notch and our clients are happy. This role is based at BaptistCare Yallambee, located in beautiful Mundaring, 3 days a week working from 8am, 6.25hrs per day, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
• Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
• Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
• Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
• Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies

What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
Hands-on property maintenance experience.
Understanding of operational budget processes.
Experience managing property-related contractors.
A team player with a can-do attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Valid driver’s license.Trade qualification desirable
Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) – desirable.
Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment.
