About the role
As a Casual Home Care Services Employee supporting clients in Mount Barker and surrounding areas (Kendenup, Katanning if required), you will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes.
You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.
Due to client demand, we are seeking Care Partners available to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
To support you in your role
- We offer a comprehensive orientation program including buddy shifts
- You’ll have direct access to a dedicated supervisor to support you
- You’ll be provided with a company mobile phone to access emails, rosters and client care plans
- Access to a dedicated learning and development team to support your ongoing professional development and career pathways
- Earn $31.13 - $34.59 plus superannuation per hour + Casual allowance + paid travel time + $1.04/km mileage reimbursement
*To help ease some of the pressure from rising fuel costs, employees who claim Vehicle/Travel (per km) reimbursement will receive a temporary increase of 5 cents per kilometre for all reimbursable journeys until May 2026, pending review.

What do we need from you?
You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with Third Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.
