About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Information & Digital team.
Reporting to the General Manager, IT Strategy & Architecture, you will define and maintain BaptistCare's Enterprise Architecture practice, providing strategic direction across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, cyber security and emerging technologies.
You will develop enterprise architecture roadmaps, standards and governance frameworks, ensuring technology investments align with organisational priorities and support long-term business outcomes.
Leading a small team of architects, you will work closely with executive leaders, business stakeholders and technology teams to drive transformation, innovation and technology decision-making across the organisation.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Enterprise Architecture or related discipline
- TOGAF certification or equivalent Enterprise Architecture qualification
- Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture leadership within complex environments
- Strong experience across applications, cloud, infrastructure, data, integration and cyber security
- Proven ability to develop architecture roadmaps, standards and governance frameworks
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation and technology investment decisions
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive influencing capabilities
- Demonstrated people leadership experience
Highly Regarded
- Experience within aged care, healthcare or community services
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions and technology integration programs
- Experience governing AI, automation and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of business process improvement and transformation methodologies
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mature BaptistCare's Enterprise Architecture practice
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, principles and roadmaps
- Provide architecture governance, design assurance and strategic technology guidance
- Align business strategy with technology investment and delivery
- Drive architecture-led simplification, rationalisation and innovation initiatives
- Support major transformation, integration and change programs
- Assess emerging technologies and promote responsible adoption of AI and automation
- Lead and mentor the Enterprise Architecture team
- Build trusted relationships across business and technology stakeholders
