About the role

Baptistcare Caloola Centre in Wagga Wagga is seeking a casual cleaner to join their team. As a cleaner you will be responsible for the cleaning of residents' rooms and general areas in the home.  You will enjoy working in a large team who are committed to making a difference in the lives of residents.

The shifts availabilities are Monday-Friday 0700-1330hrs, 0700-1500hrs and weekends 0700-1500hrs

About you

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar role
• Understanding of work health and safety practices 
• Ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks
• Previous experience in aged care (desirable)
• Willingness to work as part of a busy, friendly team
• Strong focus, positive attitude and is well organised
• Excellent communication skills

The 70-room facility provides quality, palliative care as well as security for those living with dementia. This includes our newly built sensory garden, delivering a safe and stimulating outdoor space for clients.
