Casual Servery Staff at BaptistCare Maranoa Centre

About the Role:

Reporting to the Chef Manager, Maranoa Centre is seeking experienced servery staff to join their team on a casual basis. If you’re reliable, motivated and passionate about caring for older people, we would love to hear from you.

Hourly rate is $27.66 + Super + Salary Packaging Benefits

Duties may include:
Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritious meals to our residents.
Reporting, documentation and collection of stores from main kitchen.
Servery assistance such as preparing tea & coffee, making toast, serving food, setting tables and cleaning up.

About the Team:

Located in the picturesque township of Alstonville, Maranoa Centre sits on truly magnificent grounds. Our lush rainforest patch has over 30 species of established rainforest trees, including a Moreton Bay Fig tree where many people love to rest and read.
Maranoa Centre provides 90 beds for residents across all levels of care, including dementia care and respite care services.

About You:

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people. You will need previous experience in kitchen and cleaning along with understanding of work health and safety practices. You will also have the ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.
