Your presence matters more than you know
About the role:
Shalom Centre is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and a caring community. The courtyard café serves fresh, tasty meals and barista-fresh coffee, giving a cosmopolitan flair to the lifestyle here.
As a Carer, you’ll provide hands-on support to our residents, helping them with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, meals, and social engagement. You’ll work closely with nurses, allied health professionals, and families to ensure each resident feels safe, valued, and empowered. We are seeking applicants who can commit to at least three shifts per week, as this consistency helps you build meaningful connections with residents and foster strong teamwork with colleagues.
This role is about more than tasks—it’s about building relationships, offering comfort, and creating moments of joy. Whether it’s a gentle conversation, a walk in the garden, or helping someone feel confident again, your presence makes a real difference.
