 About BaptistCare Orana Centre 
Located in the beautiful Central Coast suburb of Point Clare, Orana Centre has comfortable living at its heart. It’s dotted with private sitting rooms, barbeque areas, landscaped gardens and numerous courtyards for residents and their families and friends to enjoy. Point Clare’s amenities are always close at hand to residents, who come to us for a range of care services including dementia care and respite care services. Locally loved, we have been committed to serving the Central Coast community since 1973.

Your Role

As a Care Service Employee, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live well by providing high‑quality, person‑centred care. You will build genuine connections and contribute to the wellbeing, dignity, and comfort of each resident.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Partnering with residents to help them achieve their goals through the implementation of individual care plans.
• Demonstrating kindness and respect while assisting with personal and daily care, including showering, shaving, dressing, general cleaning, mobility support, meals, and activities of interest.
• Supporting resident independence by understanding the things that matter most to them and their families.
• Reporting progress, changes, requests, or concerns to your supervisor or manager in a timely manner.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or be undertaking Undergraduate Registered Nursing studies
• Be physically able to carry out duties safely and efficiently
• Have basic technology/computer skills and a willingness to participate in ongoing education
• Be able to understand and communicate effectively in English
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and team members
• Demonstrate an understanding of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and model our values in your daily work
