About the Role

As a Carer at Dorothy Henderson Lodge, you’ll support residents to live well with dignity, purpose and choice. You’ll build genuine relationships, understand what matters most to each person, and help them maintain their daily routines in a way that feels familiar and respectful.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with personal and daily care

• Supporting mobility, meals and meaningful activities

• Working in partnership with residents to achieve their individual care goals

• Providing updates to your Care Team Manager when needs or preferences change

• Using technology to document care and complete online learning

• Supporting residents living with dementia with patience, empathy and adaptability

We are seeking Two Perm Part Time carers to join our team. These roles offer a balanced mix of AM and PM shifts, supporting resident continuity and team connection.

Hourly rate of $34.59 plus 12% Super for Cert III Individual Support qualified candidates (or equivalent)

Shift times: • AM: 06:30 – 15:00 • PM: 15:00 – 22:00

Your fortnightly roster will include a combination of these shifts.

About You

You bring kindness, patience and genuine care to everything you do. You will also have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or currently studying) OR be an Undergraduate Registered Nurse

• Physical ability to perform care duties safely

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn

• Clear and compassionate communication skills

• Commitment to person‑centred care
