  • Casual Catering Assistant role available, BaptistCare Aminya Centre, Baulkham Hills

About the Role

As a Casual Catering Assistant, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents at Aminya Centre. You’ll support daily kitchen operations by preparing light refreshments, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your work helps residents feel cared for, respected and at home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Food service, table service and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas

  • Assisting with food preparation and reheating meals as directed

  • Ensuring correct meals reach residents at the right time and temperature

  • Supporting dietary needs and following the site Food Safety Program

  • Operating POS/EFTPOS when required

  • Working safely and following WHS and infection control procedures

The Catering Assistant role operates under the following shift times:
 
6am - 2pm
1pm - 7.30pm
9.30am - 5.30pm

About You

  • Experience working with food

  • Experience with cleaning and safe use of chemicals

  • Strong communication skills

  • Good time management and the ability to work under pressure

  • Empathy, patience and a genuine interest in supporting older people

  • Availability to work Mondays and Tuesdays
