About the Role:

As a Carer, you will enhance residents' lives with compassionate care. By understanding their needs and preferences, you create meaningful connections that support their well-being. You will assist with personal and daily care, maintaining dignity and respecting routines, with the support of your team.

Duties may include:

• Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
• Assistance with medication and simple wound dressing
• Assistance with activities under supervision
• Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

About the Team and Site.

Nestled in the vibrant regional city of Dubbo, BaptistCare Kintyre Lodge is a warm and welcoming aged care home offering 81 private single bedrooms designed for comfort and dignity.

Located at Dubbo, Kintyre Lodge Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

Adjacent to the BaptistCare Kintyre Retirement Village, the Lodge provides 24-hour personalised care and support, including residential respite services. A dedicated Memory Care Wing is available for residents living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, ensuring specialised attention in a secure and nurturing environment.

About You:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• Be physically able to carry out required duties in a safe and efficient manner
• A born listener, you are genuinely curious to know and understand people
• Your care skills are driven by compassion, and your positive attitude is contagious
• You rally your team, even on challenging days, to problem solve, connect and overcome
