About the Role:

As a Business Analyst, you will work with stakeholders from all parts of BaptistCare to elicit requirements and capture business needs. You’ll articulate and document business requirements, conduct as-is/to-be process mapping and business process design, participate in project delivery through design reviews and walk-throughs, and validate and communicate outcomes. You’ll act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards.

The Information & Digital team empowers BaptistCare by delivering innovation, transformational projects, advanced analytics, seamless technology operations, and risk management. You’ll join a collaborative team that values creativity, flexibility, and a solutions-focused approach.

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis and business process design
• Bachelor degree in business, business analytics, information technology or a related field
• Previous experience participating on project teams and business system implementation projects
• Experience with testing system changes for various projects
• Demonstrated experience using software tools such as Visio, MS Project & Jira to document plans and processes
• High level of written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to develop relationships with key organisational stakeholders, including executives and business users
• Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) in a language suitable for various audiences including business stakeholders, executives, and technology teams
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments/systems and respond to changing demands
• Hands-on experience with human resources information systems (HRIS) and/or enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions
• Experience working on projects across Finance, HR processes, Recruitment, Learning and Development, WHS, compliance, and similar business functions
• Familiarity with systems such as Technology One, SAP, Workday, or comparable platforms
• Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work

Desirable experience includes:

• Experience with Healthcare, Aged Care, Community Services and/or NFP systems and technology
• Experience with Project Management
