Applications Lead

  • Join our Business Technology Solutions Team for a 12-month fulltime fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and delivery teams to develop product roadmaps, enhancing our technology solutions and driving business efficiencies

Your Role:

As an Applications Lead you will be responsible for working with key business stakeholders, other delivery teams and vendors to establish product and system roadmaps, deliver business efficiencies and benefits via projects and systems upgrades, whilst leading and coordinating technical deliverables, continuous improvement, operational and compliance activities related to the applications assigned to the team.

What will you be responsible for:

  • Provide effective team leadership, management, and performance reviews to ensure a positive workplace culture and resource availability
  • Develop and manage product knowledge, roadmaps, and business processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Facilitate project delivery, backlog management, and sprint planning to meet business timelines and goals
  • Oversee technology operations, including support, change management, security, and data compliance
  • Ensure adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies

What you will bring to the role:

Essential Qualifications & Competencies

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT and/or management, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role and 5 years in Corporate IT
  • Proven technical leadership in implementing complex, cloud-based solutions and experience in Agile methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to new environments and meet deadlines
  • High level of written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively

Essential Experience

  • Knowledge and expertise in AlayaCare, Ortec or similar applications is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Home Care operations
  • Scheduling and Rostering knowledge
  • Data Entry and Reporting
  • User Training and Support – ability to train other users of the system & provide essential support
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
