About BaptistCare Niola Centre

Situated in the vibrant country town of Parkes, Niola Centre is an aged care home built around a quiet, relaxing courtyard, with rooms filled with natural light.

Parkes is located 25 minutes North of Forbes and 1.5 hours South of Dubbo

About the role

BaptistCare Niola Centre is seeking a Laundry Assistant on a permanent full-time basis to deliver laundry services to our residents. You will enjoy working in a team who are committed and being able make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Duties may include:

• Laundry duties
• Sorting & folding linen
• Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

About you

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.

Previous experience in laundry along with understanding of work health and safety practices will be an advantage. You can also work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.

Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance is a requirement for this role.
