Aurum Catering is seeking a dynamic and innovative Catering Operations Supervisor to work in our office environment in addition to opportunities to assist in leading our food and beverage offerings across all our sites and operations. About the role:

  • You will be at the forefront of our culinary operations.
  • Ensuring smooth execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Working closely with our Executive Chef to help lead all Aurum staff.
  • Excel in high-pressure and high-stress environments with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Foster teamwork and motivate the teams to sustain exceptional levels of performance.
  • Maintain a high level of discretion and corporate presentation.
  • Pay attention to detail in all aspects of Aurum’s functions and communication.
  • Continuously improve practices to perform tasks better, faster, and more efficiently.
  • Keep the ‘big picture’ in view to achieve the best outcomes for residents and customers while adhering to the budget set out.
  • Drive for results and work to achieve high levels of personal and organisational performance.
  • You may need to roll your sleeves up to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to create exceptional experiences for customers and residents.

About You:

  • Proven experience working in large hotels or multi-function catering venues.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills
  • Willingness to learn recruitment and accounting software programs.
  • 5-10 years of hospitality experience in a senior role.
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership skills and professional attributes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Conditions of Employment

  • National Police Clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Valid driver’s license.
