About the Role:

Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for social justice and community transformation?

BaptistCare is seeking a Pathways Team Leader to guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering holistic, wrap-around support to vulnerable and marginalised communities. The role includes Hub oversight of a multidisciplinary team, including students, and volunteers.

About You:

  • Degree or Diploma in Community Services, Counselling, Social Work or related field
  • Clinical membership of relevant professional body (e.g. PACFA - Psychotherapy and Counsellors Association of Australia)
  • Minimum of three (3) years working in a Counselling &/or community-based Case Worker role
  • Mental Health First Aid accreditation, Trauma Informed Care training (or willingness to participate in training)
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and provide guidance to the team during client crises, leveraging problem-solving skills, high-level client intervention skills, advocacy skills, and knowledge of the service sector to drive successful outcomes
  • Child Protection training / knowledge / experience
  • Ability to work within an integrated approach that is person centred and includes strengths base, narrative
  • Demonstrates understanding of DFV, Suicidality, self-harm and risk screening
  • Experience working with women from CALD backgrounds (sex workers, DV, LGBT+ communities) or individuals who may be experiencing complex concerns
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
