The role:

Due to growth, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team.  This role is based around Cowra and is open to both fulltime & part time hours with flexible working arrangements and work from home.

Provide high quality, evidence based occupational therapy services to clients under Aged Care funding. These services aim to promote independence and restore functional independence to enable clients to remain living at home.  

Your team:

Together as a team, we help people feel loved, valued and respected.

About you:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
  • Post graduate experience working with a variety of aged care services, including the community setting
  • Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients living in the community
  • Knowledge of wellness, re-ablement and restorative care approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software to support a working from home position
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisations values through interactions at work
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license and a reliable registered vehicle with minimum of Third-Party Insurance
