About the Role

As a Village Manager based at BaptistCare Harbourside Village, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, operations and performance of the village. You will create a safe, welcoming and well-presented community where residents feel connected, supported and empowered to live independently.

You will lead and support the village team, oversee operational and financial performance, manage maintenance and contractor relationships, support resident engagement initiatives and work closely with residents and the Residents Committee. You will play a key role in ensuring residents enjoy a positive living experience while maintaining high standards of service delivery, compliance and community wellbeing.

You will also work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to support village operations, sales activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

You will be a customer-focused leader with a genuine commitment to creating positive experiences for residents. You will bring strong operational and financial management skills, excellent communication abilities and the confidence to lead and develop a high-performing team.

You will also have:

  • Experience in retirement living, hospitality, hotel management, property, community services or a similar operational management environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and day-to-day operations
  • Experience managing budgets, expenditure and operational priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, employees and stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Current Australian Driver Licence
  • Current First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain
