    Busselton is located 2.5 hours (220km) south-west from Perth in the diverse Geographe region where you can taste some of the finest wines and produce, see the stretches of stunning coastline, and enjoy the vast landscapes for an outdoor adventure. 

    About your new role:

    We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant/Therapy & Leisure Partner to join our team in Busselton at our William Carey Court facility where we provide care to 99 residents. You will help promote the physical and emotional well-being of residents, by partnering with them to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Partnering with the allied health team to support residents in maintaining optimal functional abilities.
    • Actively support residents to use and develop their abilities to engage in activities meaning to residents.
    • Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with Work Health and Safety policies.
    • Follow residents' care plans in the provision of person-centered support during therapeutic activities.
    • Encourage and support family participation in the everyday life of their family member.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Cert III in Allied Health (highly advantageous)
    • Commitment to providing a customer-centric approach
    • Able to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to pass a National Police Check
    • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of up-to-date Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccinations
    • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
    • Willingness to obtain an NDIS check

    This position is Permanent Part time working 47 hours per fortnight.

    Roster: 

    Week 1: Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday

    Week 2: Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
