We are seeking an experienced and relationship focused Sales Manager to join our Retirement Living team across Sydney Metro. This is an opportunity to help older Australians and their families make one of life's most important decisions while contributing to vibrant communities where people can thrive. The role is responsible for promoting BaptistCare Retirement Living communities, supporting customers through their decision making journey and driving occupancy and sales outcomes.
About the Role
Based across Sydney Metro, you will spend most of your time in our villages, meeting prospective residents and building strong relationships within local communities. You will be a trusted advisor, guiding customers through village tours, inspections, financial and contractual conversations, reservations and settlement preparation.
Working closely with Operations, Property, Marketing, Sales Administration and Home Care teams, you will help deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving strong commercial outcomes. You will also play an important role in identifying customer needs and connecting residents to BaptistCare's broader Home Care and Support at Home services, supporting our integrated ageing model.
Location & Travel

Fulltime position (5 days per week),12 month maximum term.

Based across Sydney Metro.

Primarily village based and customer facing with flexibility for hybrid working.

Monday to Friday role.

Occasional travel and event attendance required to support lead generation and community engagement activities.
What you will be doing

Lead village tours, inspections and customer appointments.

Build trusted relationships with prospective residents, families and key stakeholders.

Support customers through retirement living, financial and contractual decision making processes.

Drive reservations, conversions and settlement outcomes your dedicated portfolio

Develop referral networks and community partnerships to generate new opportunities.

Deliver presentations, customer events, open days and community engagement initiatives.

Manage customer pipelines and CRM activity to support performance.

Collaborate closely across operational, sales and support teams to achieve shared outcomes.

About You:
You are a customer focused sales professional who understands that successful outcomes are built on trust, empathy and authentic relationships.
You will bring:

Proven consultative sales experience within retirement living, property, aged care, healthcare, financial services, real estate or a similarly relationship led environment.

Strong face to face sales capability and a demonstrated ability to convert opportunities into outcomes.

Experience conducting presentations, tours, appointments and customer meetings.

Confidence discussing financial matters, contracts and complex customer decisions.

Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management capability.

Community networking and referral generation experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to a broader team.
