This is an exciting opportunity to join our Innovation & Quality team in a newly created national role where your work will directly contribute to maintaining regulatory confidence, strengthening assurance activities and driving sustained improvement across BaptistCare's services and corporate functions.
About the Role
We are seeking a Regulatory Assurance & Insights Specialist to drive enterprise wide assurance, evaluate the effectiveness of improvement activities, and provide meaningful insights that strengthen governance, compliance and consumer outcomes. Working across multiple service streams, you will identify emerging risks, trends and systemic opportunities, ensuring BaptistCare remains responsive, accountable and prepared in a complex regulatory environment. Developing and utilising evaluation frameworks, you will provide insight into organisational learning and improvement, assurance to regulatory obligations, commitments and improvements in the regulatory engagement processes.
This position is a 12 month maximum term and can be based at any of our Shared Services offices.
Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring and validating regulatory improvement actions and commitments.

Conducting assurance and effectiveness reviews to assess sustainability and impact.

Identifying emerging risks, trends and systemic improvement opportunities.

Supporting organisational readiness for audits, reviews and regulatory engagement.

Developing executive reporting, dashboards, scorecards and assurance reporting.

Providing insights that strengthen compliance, governance and continuous improvement outcomes.

About You
You are an analytical and curious professional who enjoys turning complex information into clear insights and meaningful improvements. You thrive in collaborative environments and build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
You will bring:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in governance, compliance, risk, audit, quality, business, health, human services or a related discipline.

Experience in assurance, compliance, audit, governance, quality improvement, risk management or regulatory oversight.

Strong analytical and reporting capability, including dashboards, scorecards and executive reporting.

Experience evaluating corrective actions, remediation programs or improvement initiatives.

Excellent communication, critical thinking and stakeholder engagement skills.

A passion for continuous improvement and delivering positive organisational outcomes.
Experience within aged care, disability, home care, community services or other regulated sectors will be highly regarded.
