Registered Nurse

About your Role

As a Registered Nurse with BaptistCare Home Care, you will be supporting clients in the Parkes, Forbes, Peak Hill and surrounding areas, and will play a vital role in providing high- quality care to clients living at home. You will ensure care aligns with aged care quality standards while promoting independence, safety, and an improved quality of life. Reporting to the Senior Nurse Consultant, your key responsibilities will be:  

  • Delivering Clinical Care 
  • Conducting Comprehensive Assessments and regular reviews   
  • Care Planning and Coordination  
  • Advocating for Clients  
  • Providing Health Education 
  • Monitoring Health and Reporting Outcomes 
  • Networking and Promoting BaptistCare Services   

 
Your working hours 

This position is full time, 38 hours per week. There is a wide travel radius, and travel will be reimbursed as per the BaptistCare NSW and ACT Aged Care Enterprise Agreement.

What do we need from you? 

You must have: 

  • Registered Nurse qualifications with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimal 12 months clinical experience in acute or aged care sector  
  • Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence with minimum Third-Party Damage Insurance  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication  
  • Intermediate level of computer skills  
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team  
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
