About the Role:

Working closely with residents, their families, and the multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse leads the assessment of each resident’s strengths and needs and develops individualised, person-centred support that promotes both physical and emotional wellbeing.

The role provides direct clinical care in accordance with the Registered Nurse scope of practice and oversees the delivery of clinical and allied health services for residents, including guidance and support to clinical and care staff. The Registered Nurse coordinates and provides leadership for all aspects of resident care and works closely with the Clinical Manager to identify evidence-based best practice and drive quality initiatives across the facility.

Roster:
Ams and PMs, including weekends: 

7.00am – 3.00pm  

2.30pm - 10.30pm

About You:

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong understanding of care assessment and provision within the Aged Care and Health Care sectors
  • Knowledge of legislation and standards relevant to the Aged Care sector
  • Understanding of contemporary aged care issues and opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements
  • Working knowledge of AN-ACC
  • Working knowledge of OSH legislation and safe work practices
