About the role:
Working as part of the Payroll Team, this role is responsible for supporting payroll processing and rostering activities to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
You will assist with payroll calculations and processing, maintain payroll data integrity, and help manage employee records in line with legislation and organisational policies. The role also involves responding to payroll and award-related queries, supporting system updates, and ensuring accuracy across rostering and payroll information.

About you:
- Previous experience and competency in using a computerised payroll systems
- Good understanding of awards, legislation and other requirements impacting on payroll production in the sector
- Demonstrated ability to interpret awards and agreements
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Relates, communicates and works well with other people
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to manage time and work to deadlines
- Contributes positively within a team, demonstrating initiative, integrity and collaboration
- A proven commitment to customer focus
- Good computing skills
- Commitment to providing a customer centric approach.
Desirable:
- Experience in Technology One or similar
- Knowledge of computerised rostering systems and practice.
