About the Role:

Set amongst peaceful bushland, Caloola Centre is a warm and welcoming home offering quality and specialised care. With beautifully landscaped gardens and a newly built sensory garden, we create a safe and enriching environment for our residents.

As a Care Service Employee – Lifestyle, you will work as part of a team to support the meaningful engagement of people living in BaptistCare residential communities. You will help develop and implement individual and group activities that reflect the wishes, goals, and preferences of our residents, directly supporting a positive quality of life.

The shifts for this position are:

Monday 1000-1600hrs

Tuesday 0930-1530hrs

Saturday 1000-1500hrs

Sunday 1000-1500hrs

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $36.23/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

About You:

• Demonstrate empathetic communication skills
• Basic technology/computer skills and willingness to take part in ongoing education
• Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related qualification or willing to attain (desired)
• Current First Aid certificate
• Hold a current drivers license

• Previous aged care experience as a Lifestyle Officer, with a passion for enriching residents’ lives, is essential
