About the role

We are seeking a Lifestyle Officer who is passionate about enriching the lives of older people through meaningful engagement, personalised activities and genuine connection. In this role, you will work closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator to design and deliver experiences that reflect each resident’s interests, goals and preferences. You will support both individual and group activities, contribute to documentation and quality processes, and help create an environment where residents feel valued, respected and empowered.

This permanent part‑time position is rostered every Tuesday, with the opportunity to pick up additional casual shifts across our three Macquarie Park residential communities.

About you

You bring warmth, empathy and creativity to your work. You enjoy building relationships, understanding what matters to people and creating activities that bring joy and meaning. You will also bring:

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting older people

  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn

  • An understanding of person‑centred care and the importance of dignity and choice

  • A collaborative approach and a positive attitude

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or willingness to work towards it)

  • Current First Aid certificate

  • Current driver’s licence
