About the role
Baptistcare Gracewood, our 110-bed residential aged care facility in Salter Point, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our night duty team.
In this role, you will be the sole RN on shift, working closely with a capable and caring team of support staff. This position includes In-Charge responsibilities, so we are looking for someone with strong clinical skills, confidence, and proven leadership experience.
You will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering care in line with individual Resident Care Plans, while ensuring the highest standards of professional practice. In addition, you will provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to our Care Staff to ensure safe and person-centred care.

About you:
You are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a passion for leading and supporting care teams in a residential aged care setting. Ideally, you bring at least three years of experience, with aged care or community services experience highly regarded. You provide clear direction and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Care Partners, ensuring residents' care needs are met in accordance with clinical requirements and individual care plans.
With a strong understanding of evidence-based clinical practice, you lead by example and empower others to deliver care that aligns with best practice and scope of practice standards. You’re experienced in developing care plans in consultation with residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals. You relate to older people with empathy, understanding, and respect, and you bring excellent communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills to your role.
