About the role:
Graceford in Byford, is a 68-bed facility where you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, closely collaborating with residents, their families, and the wider care team. This role is essential in delivering person-centred care and supporting residents’ overall well-being through meaningful daily activities and tailored clinical support.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll provide care and clinical interventions within your scope of practice, ensuring that care plans reflect residents’ changing needs. You’ll take a flexible and respectful approach, upholding residents' rights to choice, autonomy, and dignity, while also considering their cultural, spiritual, and personal preferences.
You will build trusted relationships with residents, advocate for their physical and emotional needs, and communicate effectively with their families. Monitoring health, reporting concerns to the RN, and supporting social connections are all part of your contribution to holistic care. You'll also collaborate with medical officers and allied health professionals to ensure a high standard of service.
In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe and supportive environment by guiding Care Partners, ensuring compliance with all policies and standards, and assisting with medication administration. A commitment to continuous improvement, clinical governance, and ongoing professional development is key, alongside maintaining your AHPRA registration.

About you:
you will be a qualified Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration and solid clinical skills. You will demonstrate empathy and respect in your interactions with older people and possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to manage a busy and changing workload are essential. A commitment to ongoing professional development is expected, along with a partnership approach to supporting residents' daily living needs. You will have a customer-focused mindset and a sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation, and ACFI. Proficiency in using a range of IT applications is also required
