We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to be the star of our kitchens where smiles are just as important as the meals we serve.

What you will be doing

  • Prepare, cook, and serve dishes with flair and precision
  • Support the Head Chef and step up when required
  • Maintain HACCP standards and kitchen compliance
  • Keep equipment in top condition
  • Plan daily prep lists for efficient service
  • Ensure OH&S compliance and safe practices
  • Mentor and induct new staff
  • Contribute to team meetings and uphold our Code of Conduct

Desired Skills

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel, restaurant, catering company or similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Certificate or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage
  • Proven experience working in large hotels or multi-function catering venues.
  • Intermediate Microsoft 365 skills,

Conditions of Employment

  • National Police Clearance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Annual flu (influenza) vaccine.
  • All COVID vaccinations to ensure the ability to work within aged care.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
