A single-storey building that’s easy to navigate, Mid Richmond Centre provides 49 beds for residents across all levels of care. Mid-Richmond Centre is a well-established and valuable part of the local community.

About the Role

As our Chef Manager, you will oversee daily kitchen operations while leading a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality meals and outstanding service. This is a hands-on leadership role where your creativity, ideas and passion for food will be valued.

You will:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing kitchen team
  • Deliver nutritious, appealing and resident-focused menus
  • Manage food safety, quality and compliance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in dining services
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive kitchen culture

About You

We're looking for someone who brings both culinary expertise and compassionate leadership.

You will have:

  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience managing large-scale catering operations
  • Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Ability to prepare diverse, high-quality meals while maintaining nutrition and flavour
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A positive, collaborative and adaptable approach
  • Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, hospitality or large catering environments
