About the role
Kalkarni is seeking an Administration Officer with a strong focus on scheduling and workforce coordination. This role is central to ensuring our aged care home is safely and appropriately staffed, with responsibilities that include preparing rosters, managing staff availability, coordinating leave, and filling vacant shifts in line with Awards, Agreements and organisational protocols.
You will work closely with the leadership team to maintain accurate staffing records, support recruitment and onboarding processes, and liaise with Payroll regarding staff enquiries. Alongside your rostering responsibilities, you will provide general administrative support to residents, families and staff, contributing to the smooth daily operations of the home.
This role suits someone who is organised, confident with systems, and able to balance competing priorities while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
This role is Permanent Part-Time - 44 hours per fortnight working Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

- Hourly rate of between $32.92 - $35.19 + 12% Super, dependent on experience
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience in administration, scheduling, rostering or workforce coordination

Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and electronic rostering platforms

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interpret Awards and Agreements, or willingness to learn

A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism and resident‑centred service
Experience in aged care, payroll liaison or recruitment administration is desirable but not essential.
