About the Role:

Located at Wagga Wagga, Caloola Centre Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.  As an Admin Officer/Coordinator, you’ll be part of a team, empowering and supporting one another to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions for aged care services.

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $27.77 - $32.77/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

Duties may include:

  • Preparing, maintaining, and managing staff rosters to ensure appropriate workforce coverage and compliance
  • Coordinating roster changes, leave requests, shift allocations, and staff replacements
  • Client administration
  • Hosting tours of the facility
  • Supporting sales and occupancy enquiries for the facility
  • General administrative duties as required

About You:

  • Previous experience in roster management (UKG), scheduling, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in preparing, maintaining, and updating staff rosters.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and roster management software.
  • Ability to accurately enter, maintain, and retrieve data from various systems.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure roster accuracy, compliance, and effective workforce planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with staff, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Understanding of award conditions, shift allocations, leave management, and workforce coordination will be highly regarded.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond promptly to roster changes, staff shortages, and operational requirements.
