In the heart of the Hills District, surrounded by award winning gardens, Aminya Village is seeking a passionate Café All Rounder to join their dedicated team on a casual basis.

This much-loved cafe is open Monday to Friday  between 10am and 2pm so is well suited to a parent looking for casual work in between school hours.

About the Role:

As a Café All Rounder, you’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming and vibrant café experience for our residents, visitors, and staff. You’ll support the Café Team Leader and your teammates to ensure smooth daily operations, all while delivering exceptional customer service with a smile.

Responsibilities include (not limited to):

• Preparing and serving of food and beverages including coffee making
• Taking orders.
• Cash handling and operating the cash register/EFTPOS machine
• Café cleaning duties including cleaning coffee machines and equipment.
• Restocking fridges and snack displays
• Maintaining service area to food safety standards.
• Jumping in wherever needed with a “can do” attitude

About you:

You’re someone who thrives in a small team, brings joy to customer interactions, and takes pride in a clean, well-run café. You’ll also bring:

• Previous café / barista experience
• Experience in food preparation and handling
• A friendly, approachable nature and strong customer service skills
• Flexibility and reliability
• Supportive with a “can do” attitude
• Warm and welcoming disposition and empathy for older people
• A commitment to BaptistCare’s values.
