Lifestyle Officer | Shalom Centre (Macquarie Park)

About the Role:

Located at Macquarie Park, BaptistCare Shalom Centre is surrounded by meticulously landscaped gardens and a supportive community. It provides high-quality care in a shared accommodation setting that is accessible to all individuals.

As a Lifestyle Officer, you’ll help create meaningful and uplifting experiences for our residents through engaging social, recreational, cultural, and wellbeing programs. Your work will support mental health, foster independence, and celebrate each resident’s individuality.

With a well-designed activity program as your guide, you’ll tailor experiences to reflect each person’s unique interests and values—ensuring they feel seen, heard, and empowered.

You’ll be supported every step of the way by our Lifestyle Coordinator and dedicated care team at Macquarie Park, working together to deliver exceptional care and quality of life.

About You:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related qualification, or willingness to attain (desired)
  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve
  • Basic technology/computer skills and willingness to take part in ongoing education
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Hold a current drivers license
