About BaptistCare Balladong Gardens York

Balladong Gardens provides person-centred support for all levels of care, including specialised support for those living with dementia.

Offering 26 individual rooms, each one features an en-suite, built-in wardrobes, adjustable bed and emergency-monitoring systems for your safety and security.

About the role

As a Carer, you'll get to know your residents by supporting their choices, preferences and needs during your shifts. 

Duties may include:

• Assistance with a wide range of Person-Centered care in accordance with care plans
• Assistance with medication
• Simple wound dressing
• Assistance with activities under supervision
• Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

Skills & experience

• Previous experience as a Carer in aged care setting highly desirable
• Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
• Certificate III in Individual Support highly desired, or willing to work towards obtaining one.
